The first NBA tour of 100 Chinese children

Updated: Aug 4, 2018

On December 30th, a hundred children from Gansu Province arrived in Newark Airport in the winter with snowflakes. As representatives of the Yellow River Basin in China, they began their own trip to the US NBA.

These 10-year-old teenagers held their first Chinese cultural performances to American audiences in Cleveland. On January 2, 2018, before the Cleveland Cavaliers played against the Portland Trail Blazers, the children wore national costumes and performed traditional ethnic dances with drums.

In the next few days, they trained in the five-day youth training camp for the Cavaliers.
